Benefits of Daily Use of Dr. Chris Organics® Mouthwash:
Using mouthwash is an integral part of oral hygiene. It reaches areas that the toothbrush can't, provides freshness, and is an excellent preventive measure against cavities, periodontitis, and gingivitis.
How often and how much mouthwash should I use?
Use 10-15 ml of the mouthwash, rinsing vigorously twice a day after brushing your teeth for 30-50 seconds. If you have gum inflammation or periodontitis, it is advisable to brush your teeth after lunch, floss, and rinse with mouthwash so that food residues don't stick to your teeth until dinner.
Even with perfect dental hygiene, plaque still accumulates, but this doesn't mean you should wait until your next dental appointment. Mouthwash helps minimize pathogens, reduce plaque buildup, and protect your gums from inflammation.
What is the best prevention against gingivitis and periodontitis?
The most important aspect is maintaining good oral hygiene, which is achieved through a combination of floss, oral irrigator, toothbrush and toothpaste, and mouthwash. Start by cleaning between your teeth with floss. Curve the floss around the tooth and gently clean just below the gum line, then pull the floss out above the gum papilla, curve it around the adjacent tooth, and repeat the cleaning, allowing the floss to go slightly under the gum papilla again.
After flossing, use your toothbrush and toothpaste. Next, use the oral irrigator to clean the interdental spaces, where cavities most commonly form. Finish with mouthwash. Do not eat or drink for 10 minutes after using the mouthwash.
It is important to visit your dentist regularly for professional cleaning with ultrasound. Cleaning with a thin ultrasonic tip below the gum line is essential for the prevention of gingivitis and periodontitis.
Important!!!
Many patients with periodontitis have never experienced bleeding gums. Periodontitis can progress without symptoms, and patients may not be aware of bone loss around the teeth and the presence of periodontal pockets.
It is recommended to take a panoramic X-ray every 3-4 years. These images show not only the level of alveolar bone but also cysts, granulomas, and other pathological changes, which are easier to treat when detected early.
